Hours: Part-time at 17.5 hours, flexible but preferably over 4 or 5 days

Location: National Support Office, Bristol

Salary: £16,000 (pro-rata)

We are recruiting for a dedicated individual, with great administration and organisation skills to join our small, passionate, and supportive team at The Pituitary Foundation. Working under the guidance of our Senior Foundation Administrator, you will play an important role in providing administrative support for activities across all three departments within The Foundation, including Finance & Resources, Fundraising, and Patient & Family Services.

We are looking for an individual who has a breadth of skills, has initiative, has a positive outlook, and who wants to learn. You will enjoy working with people and have effective communication skills across the board, including digital. You will be genuinely interested in helping to make a difference to people affected by pituitary conditions. Our vision is to continue developing our charity’s support services and raise awareness to help more pituitary patients and their families. This administration role is integral in making this a reality.


Candidate requirements


  • Experience of providing administration support across a range of activities.
  • Proven organisational skills when undertaking many different tasks.
  • Communicating with people through a variety of channels, including over the telephone and by email in a work setting.
  • Experience of using IT and databases competently.
  • Experience of using social media and proven digital skills.
  • Producing quality written information and communications.


  • Experience of working within the voluntary sector in a paid or unpaid capacity.
  • Updating websites and using content management systems.
  • Experience of working with volunteers.
  • Experience, knowledge and awareness of pituitary conditions.
