Campaign with us to improve the lives of people who are affected by pituitary conditions!
Get involved with The Pituitary Foundation’s campaigns work and raise awareness in your local community. Volunteer Campaigners support our ongoing campaigns work and help us to fulfil our goals to influence policy and key decision makers and improve general public awareness. It is an exciting time to get involved as The Foundation are able to prioritise campaigning activities more so now than ever before!
Examples of tasks involved:
- Spreading awareness locally through distributing leaflets and posters to community centres, GP surgeries, and ensuring that posters are present in your local pituitary clinics.
- Writing letters and emails to people with influence such as your local councillor or politician.
- Holding awareness stands or awareness events in your local area.
- Getting involved in any current Pituitary Foundation campaigns and helping us to publicise these campaigns via social media.
Campaigners need to be organised with good communication skills, be computer literate, and motivated to bring about change.

This role is flexible and will appeal to those who might have as little as 2 hours a month to give, but the role can be adapted to also suit those with more time. You can choose how many campaign activities you get involved with. If you are already a volunteer this could also be a role that you could do alongside your current duties.
Location: You can volunteer from your own home in this role.
All our Volunteer Campaigners must fill in an application form, and understand and sign the policies and procedures of The Foundation. We will also contact applicants for an informal telephone interview/chat. Campaigners need to read and understand the Volunteer Campaigner’s Guidebook which you will be sent and use this document regularly to help them carry out their duties.

We run quarterly volunteer recruitment drives which means we take in new volunteers four times a year. The deadline for volunteer applications is the last day of the month in February, May, August, and November.
