Menai said: "I’m delighted and honoured by this award. It is wonderful for the work of The Pituitary Foundation to be recognised in this way. This award is for everyone at The Pituitary Foundation. The progress the charity has made is due to a dedicated team of volunteers and staff, and wonderful members and supporters. I’m very lucky to lead such a special and inspirational organisation. We are a small organisation, with a big impact and a big heart. There is plenty more for us to do to continue innovating, raising more awareness and driving forward changes needed in the care of people affected by pituitary conditions that can be so life-changing.”
Menai was appointed as Chief Executive of The Pituitary Foundation in 2011 and has worked for the charity for nearly ten years. She is passionate about her work and the charity sector and is an advocate for equality.
