London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019 SUCCESS

Team Photo LLHM

Sunday March 24th saw the 2nd London Landmarks Half Marathon taking place.  And this year saw a 100% increase in the number of runners we had with a team of 55 on the day who have managed to raise a whopping £26,000 and counting. This superb event is a must do for any runner (or walker!). The route takes in so many of London’s iconic landmarks such as the London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Gherkin, the Shard and so much more. The crowds are amazing and the atmosphere is second to none.

We would like to thank each and every runner for their incredible efforts, we really can’t thank you all enough for raising such a mammoth amount. We’d also like to thank all volunteers who came along to join our cheering squad on the day and have to give a special thank you to Tom Crockford. Tom is a qualified personal trainer and photographer. He was part of our team WhatsApp chat and gave free nutrition and training advice to our team, advice which was greatly appreciated, and then on the day was our official photographer.

After the race we welcomed our team back to a delightful boat on the Thames to our post-race reception as our way of saying thank you.
