A Useful Paper to Carry

One of our members recently wrote to us to say she'd found the following paper written by Prof John Wass to be very useful when going into hospital.

The paper outlines how medical professionals should work to avoid patients going into adrenal crisis. The overarching message is that they should listen when a well-informed patient requests steroids in order to avoid unnecessary deaths.

The member who recommended the paper has printed copies which she hands out to professionals at any opportunity and suggested that other patients may like to do similarly.
