The Pituitary Foundation is thrilled to welcome Emma Cooper as it’s new CEO. Emma replaces Ren Renwick, who left in mid-June after two very successful years at the charity.
Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in patient advocacy and support organisations and is passionate about ensuring that the services people need to live well with a health condition are good quality, accessible, safe, and effective. Bringing with her a track record of working closely with patient groups, Emma understands the importance of lived experience to inform our work.
Emma says: “I’m really delighted to be joining The Pituitary Foundation especially now as it marks its 30th anniversary. I’m looking forward to playing my part in developing its work for and with people living with a pituitary condition.”
Chair of Trustees, Tom Sumpster, says: “We are delighted to be welcoming Emma to the charity as our new CEO. Emma is joining the charity at a great time, where a wealth of opportunity exists. Her leadership and experience will make a huge difference to our support services and the impact of our advocacy work over the coming years.
“We are excited to support Emma in the direction she helps take the charity, working on the strong foundations established by Ren over the last 2 years.”
